Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-07-12T02:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-07-12T02:12:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: N10W45
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
CHP: CME - Coronal Hole Proximity
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
Note: CME first seen to the NW by SOHO LASCO C2 beginning at 2026-07-12T02:12Z, as well as by SOHO LASCO C3 and GOES CCOR-1 in later frames. The CME is seen to the NE in STEREO A COR2. The source of this event is a region of dimming seen located at approximately N10W45 beginning at approximately 2026-07-12T01:45Z as seen in SDO AIA 193. However, due to coronal hole proximity, this CME is likely deflected from the source location. This dimming is likely residual/expanded dimming following a C5.3 flare from Active Region 14485. This CME heavily overlaps and disturbs the morphology of CME: 2026-07-12T01:14Z.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
